Inspired by the great success of our rapeseed straw pellets, we introduced one more premium horse bedding made from super absorbent rapeseed straw. Everyone knows that conventional straw is a great bedding as creating deep-litter beds for low costs. But usually it is notoriously dusty, very heavy, smelly and unpleasant to muck out.
Improving conventional straw horse bedding for warm and dry deep-litter lovers to a nearly perfect product, straw chopping, few-steps dust separation and baling into convenient bags system were installed.
We were lucky, since raps straw features, our great experience in agriculture and farming technological processes allowed us to make an excellent bedding product for horses – chopped rapeseed straw.
From now it is well known as one of the best bedding for horses on the equine market.

APPLICATION OF CHOPPED OILSEED RAPE STRAW
Made for each other
- For a 10 m2 box, you need only 2-4 bags of 20 kg.
- Spread the bedding evenly over the box floor of chopped raps straw. As it is a ready to use product – no extra preparation required.
- Scoop out any wet bedding and remove droppings regularly.
- To maintain a typical 10 m2 stable you will need to top up the bed with one 20 kg bale of chopped raps straw per week.
- Remove and replace it all between 2 to 3 weeks of usage.
- Urine absorption chopped oilseed rape straw is great, and so is ammonia and odour control. The waste is also low. The usage of chopped straw can cut the straw usage by half. As a result there is relatively little labour required.

We offer wide range of packaging options into our branded bags as well as the facility to label our products with your brand name and customized design or just pack it into blank bags. Different sizes of packaging are available for your convenience and are listed in a table below.
Bags are stacked on pallets and wrapped with stretch folio.
All stacked pallets can be supplied with rain cover on top to make it possible to store outside (not included in the standard packaging).
