All types of rapeseed straw bedding are very absorbent thanks to stem cellular structure. Cellulose is most responsible for a high liquid absorption of all natural fibers. Making a reaserch content of cellulose about 49% was found. It is higher than other straw based raw materials it is higher about 13% and comparing with wheat straw .
Another very important thing choosing material to make animal bedding that rapeseed fibers length and width is about 3 times bigger then of wheat straw, so it naturally lhas less dust.
We took a risk to try a rapeseed straw as a base for our new premium horse bedding according to these scientific articles. We was lucky and raps straw features, great experience in agriculture and farming technological processes allowed us to make an excelent beding product for horses – rapeseed straw pellets RAPSORB®.

APPLICATION OF RAPSORB®
IT MEANS THAT FOR ONE WELL-KEPT HORSE IT IS ENOUGH TO USE ONE PALLET OF OUR WHEAT STRAW PELLETS RAPSORB® PER ONE YEAR.
Made for each other
- In the beginning, you just need to lead your horse out from its box before adding the bedding.
- For a 10m2 box, you need 5-6 bags of 20kg.
- Spread the bedding evenly over the box floor to get approx 50 mm layer of straw pellets.
- Lightly mist the pellets with water to start pellet expansion.
- Wait for about 15-25 minutes for the straw pellets to absorb water and expand in size.
- Mix up it with a shovel. Wet again if some drier spots appear.
- Then you can put the horse back in its box. The horse will help you to things move along. When adding more straw pellets, you should wet it again to activate the expansion.
- To maintain a typical 10m2 stable you will need to top up the bed with one 20kg bag of straw pellets per week. Add the new pellets around the edge of the stable and let them to break down.
- Remove and replace it all between 4 to 6 weeks of usage.
- Urine absorption in soft straw pellets is excellent, and so is ammonia and odour control. The waste is also low. The usage of straw pellets can cut the straw usage by half. As a result there is relatively little labour required.

We offer wide range of packaging options into our branded bags as well as the facility to label our products with your brand name and customized design or just pack it into blank bags. Different sizes of packaging are available for your convenience and are listed in a table below.
Bags are stacked on pallets and wrapped with stretch folio. The size of one-way pallets depends on customers request or on bag size. Big-bags also can be loaded into the truck with pallet below for easier unlaoding or handling in the storage.
All stacked pallets with small bags can be supplied with rain cover on top to make it possible to store outside (into the standard packaging it is not included).
